#Lacie external hard drive not recognized by mac mac
Sometimes Lacie external hard drives don't show up on Mac and it irritates a user. Whenever a user connects an external hard drive with Mac's USB port and it usually appears on the desktop asap.You should be able to buy a cheap enclosure and just take out the drive from the LaCie and put it in the new one and back stuff up and then put the drive back into the LaCie enclosure and return it.When I plug it into my computer via USB adapter, my computer does not recognize it The drive has no power source that I can see, but has a light on it indicating that it is functioning.
